Euró Iompú (Euro Coach Builders www.eurocoachbuilders.ie ), a bus assembling company has gone into voluntary liquidation. The company employs 45 people in the Údaras na Gaeltachta Industrial Estate in Gweedore, Co Donegal. They have in the past produced the City Imps used by Dublin Bus. A statement from the company said the workers would be laid off as a result.
Euró Iompú said its board had reached the decision after a review of business activities as the company had been facing increased competition in the bus manufacturing sector in the last few years.
