From Kilcock to Dong Guan

75 jobs in Kilcock, Co. Kildare have been given the axe from the sweets manufacturer Zed Candy (www.zedgum.com). The company’s Managing Director, Brendan Roantree has announced that they will be moving operations to Dong Guan in China in mid 2008. Again the company cited increasing costs of operating in Ireland as their main reason for heading to China.
