Today a €30 million research and developement facility in Dublin’s Leopardstown is to be opened by Merill Lynch (www.ml.com). The 40 new jobs created in association with the IDA (www.ida.ie) will be high end IT jobs. These will primiarly focus on the development of technological applications to support Merrill’s businesses worldwide. Merrill Lynch already employs 800 people in two Dublin locations.
