Oracle Corp. (www.oracle.com) has agreed to acquire Netsure Telecom Ltd. (www.netsure.com), a provider of network intelligence and network data integrity software. Netsure is a private company based in Dublin, who make software that helps ensure the smooth operation of networks. Its main software is the Active Network Optimisation product suite. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. Oracle expects the deal to be finalized later this month.

Netsure’s solutions are product based, and support open standards. Netsure’s product capabilities combined with Oracle’s network inventory, provisioning, and financial asset management applications, are expected to enable service providers to improve proactive network planning, modeling and optimization, reducing operational costs and increasing the utilization and efficiency of both leased and owned network capacity.
