If you are looking for a job the best way would be to contact your nearest store and bring along an up to date copy of your CV. SuperValu hires all levels of people, from Managers to floor staff, to delicatessen workers.

  6. paul savage said on 10 Jun 2008 at 3:34 pm

Megan, The best would be to keep an eye out for when the put up a sign for staff. Typically this will be 2-4 weeks in advance. Or you could try and contact the other stores in Donegal to see if they know anything about it :

I have experience in retail in merchandising before my construction job and I enjoyed the retail more than the building work. I live in Sallynoggin and your Deansgrange store would be perfect for me. I would appreciate a chance to prove myself if there is a vacancy at the moment

  53. anthony smyth said on 30 Dec 2012 at 7:48 pm

Hi, I have previous experience within the food/retail industry. I am very anxious to return to the sector as I have been working as a lab technician for approx 5years, due to the economic climate i have been reluctant to change back into retail. I know feel the need to change and return to retail. My previous position as a ‘assistant manager’ gave me experience and knowledge of the requirements within the retail industry. I understand that i may need to start from the beginning again within the industry. I would be very greatfull if you would consider me as a candidate to work within a supervalue store. I feel this is where my future lies as i am a people person and i regret having to leave retail previously. Thankyou kindly.
